1. Acceptance of terms

By using Cinct (cinct.ai), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of service

Cinct converts video and audio content into AI-generated notes, summaries, and transcripts. The service is provided on a credit-based system.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You may delete your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Credits and payments

  • Free accounts receive 3 credits per month, which reset monthly.
  • Purchased credit packs are non-refundable and never expire.
  • YouTube videos cost 1 credit. Uploaded files, Vimeo, and direct URLs cost 2 credits.
  • All payments are processed securely by Stripe.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose.
  • Upload content that you do not have the right to process.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or credit restrictions.
  • Abuse, disrupt, or overload the service.
  • Use automated tools to access the service without permission.

6. Intellectual property

  • You retain ownership of any notes generated from your content.
  • Cinct does not claim ownership of your generated notes or uploaded content.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process the content you submit.

7. Data retention

  • Saved notes are automatically deleted after 90 days.
  • Uploaded files are deleted immediately after transcription.
  • You can choose “Download only” to avoid any server-side storage of your notes.

8. Service availability

Cinct is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or any specific uptime. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

Cinct is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. AI-generated notes may contain errors and should not be relied upon as the sole source of information.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
